Ormonde Wines will be at Cape2Clarens Wine Festival from 15 to 17 October 2026.

Three days of exploring the village, tasting wines from some of South Africa’s top wine estates, meeting the people behind the bottles and discovering a few new favourites along the way.

There’s a new favourite on the menu.

Our Tuna Melt Toasted Sandwich brings together creamy tuna mayo, crunchy gherkins and fresh salad greens on freshly baked farm bread, served with crispy potato wedges and our homemade tomato sauce.

Add a glass of your favourite Ormonde wine and you have lunch sorted.

A Glimpse Back in Time...

This remarkable aerial photograph takes us back to the 1950-1960, when Langfontein Farm—the very farm on which Ormonde Wines stands today—was a thriving working dairy farm. Long before the vineyards were planted and wine became part of its story, these fields were home to traditional farming, with no vines in sight.

It's incredible to see how this beautiful piece of Darling's history has evolved over the decades while still preserving the character and charm of the land.
