We have had an exciting journey of preparations over the last 3 months. Since end of May 2022, we have sought and found water, the land has been tilled and now ready for final treatment prIor to plantIng, and we have improved home security systems. We have also initiated a search for markets for our planned products. Over the next month, we will be installing an irrigation system and readying to plant. Colleagues, things have been happening: since taking ownership of the little African Green Acre unit in Rietkol, we have made strides, maybe baby steps. We have been able to establish ourselves on the ground. In less than two weeks being on site, we have sited two boreholes with potential to yield sustainable irrigation water, we have cleared the ground, and we will be tilling the land in a few days time. Our target is to plant our first set of crops in the third week of July 2022 - keep watching the space and following us... as the the plane gets into flight mode.
