RESIDENTIAL LIQOUR BREWER BUSTED

Scene of crime: 217 Mdluli street (Gundwame) LANGAVILLE Extension 03

Complainant: State as per Branch Commander Lt. Colonel S.M Dookhi, service number 0461220-5, attached to Detective Services Tsakane

Suspects: One African male arrested. SAPS 14/ SAPS13 numbers to follow..

The complainant alleged that he got information from the reliable source of the house that is producing/manufacture liquor (spirits) at LANGAVILLE ext 3. . The complainant organized Springs crime intelligence to confirm the information and it was positive.

A search warrant was obtained and gather a team and went to the address and found equipment that they use in brewing, empty bottles of Gordon's gin,liquor labels,bar codes and other brands. One African male 40 years was arrested and the liquor and the equipment was confiscated and booked on TSAKANE SAPS 13 stores.

The team consisted Tsakane Detectives, Spring crime intelligence,Springs Crime Prevention,SARS,Customs,Liquor board,PHO Liquor officer.

Seven suspects, including a Polokwane councillor have been arrested, following a burglary at the Police’s Stock Theft Unit.

Fi****ms and ammunition stolen from a safe.

Police raided several properties in the Seshego area and arrested the men including a wanted suspect who faces murder and robbery charges.

Police recovered the stolen items and seized three vehicles.

As an effort to deal with the proliferation of fi****ms and to remove them from the streets of Gauteng, the law enforcement strive to make inroads in seizing these weapons and arresting those found in possession of it.

On 27 November 2023, the Vehicle Identification Service together with Mamelodi West Crime prevention team arrested three suspects for possession of unlicensed fi****ms and possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle.

BREAKING | Horrific collision claims seven lives on Rosslyn Road on the R566

A collision claimed seven lives in a tragic collision on R566 Rosslyn Road just across Doornplaat. It is said that the BMW car hit the truck, then the truck fell of the road into the fields.

Debris pieces from both car and truck lay across the road as well as the bodies of the victims who died in the collision. Hartebeespoort Emergency Medical Services along with Station 21 were quickly on the scene to offer assistance to the victims. All thanks to the traffic officer who controlled the traffic/cars away from the scene.

Motorists are being warned to please keep your eyes on the road and don't take chances, Accident can happen in a blink of an eye.

Deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.
