🚨 NISSAN NP200 STOLEN FROM NEWLANDS WEST PROPERTY, DURBAN🚨

A white Nissan NP200 was stolen from a property on Murraydene Avenue in Newlands West during the early hours of Friday morning.

KZN VIP Control Centre received information regarding the theft and immediately dispatched KZN VIP Response Officers to the scene. Upon arrival, it was established that an unknown number of suspects allegedly gained access to the property after breaking the padlock securing the driveway gate. The suspects thereafter stole the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.

It remains unconfirmed whether the suspects arrived on foot or were travelling in another vehicle.

KZN VIP Response Officers conducted patrols throughout the surrounding areas and possible escape routes; however, the vehicle could not be located.

🚨 KZN VIP ALS MEDICS SUCCESSFULLY RESUSCITATE CRITICALLY INJURED PATIENT FOLLOWING SERIOUS M19 COLLISION 🚨

Multiple injuries were reported following a high impact collision involving two vehicles and a motorcycle on the M19, in the vicinity of the Dunkeld Road offramp, shortly after 06:00 on Thursday morning.

KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, where multiple patients were found to have sustained injuries following the collision.

Following initial patient assessments, KZN VIP Advanced Life Support (ALS) medics and additional KZN VIP ambulance resources were dispatched to the scene to assist with the management of the patients.

During the emergency response, one patient was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest. KZN VIP ALS medics immediately initiated advanced resuscitation efforts. The resuscitation was successful, The patient remained in a critical condition and was stabilised under advanced life support care before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further definitive medical management.

The remaining patients were assessed, treated and stabilised on scene before being transported to appropriate medical facilities for further medical care.

Traffic on the M19 was severely affected during the morning peak while emergency services attended to the collision.

The circumstances leading up to the collision cannot be confirmed at this stage.

‼️INCIDENT REPORT: MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION WATERLOO‼️

​M27, near Sasol Waterloo

At approximately 06:38, members of SBA PROTECT and KZN VIP Medical were dispatched to an accident on the M27 near Sasol Waterloo.

Upon arrival, responders confirmed a three vehicle collision.

​Witnesses on scene reported that the White Toyota Hilux bakkie collided with the White Hyundai Grand i10. The impact caused the Hyundai i10 to spin out of control and strike the Maroon Toyota Corolla before coming to a stop.

The ​driver of the White Hyundai Grand i10 was found disoriented and bleeding profusely from a head injury.

Responders from SBA PROTECT and KZN VIP Medical stabilized the patient on scene before being transport to a medical facility.

🚨 SUSPECT APPREHENDED WITH HOUSEBREAKING IMPLEMENTS, DANGEROUS WEAPONS & SUSPECTED STOLEN COPPER IN PHOENIX 🚨

A suspect has been successfully apprehended by members of KZN VIP Security following reports of suspicious activity in the Cardinal Road area of Phoenix on Monday afternoon.

It is believed that the male drew the attention of KZN VIP members after displaying suspicious behaviour and attempting to flee as a KZN VIP patrol vehicle approached the area.

Members immediately responded and managed to successfully apprehend the suspect before he could escape.

During further investigation, the suspect was allegedly found in possession of several housebreaking implements, dangerous weapons, as well as copper piping and fittings.

It is suspected that the male may be linked to several other criminal incidents reported within the surrounding area. This, however, remains subject to further investigation by the relevant authorities.

SAPS were called to the scene and the suspect was subsequently handed over, arrested and detained for further investigation.

KZN VIP continues to maintain a proactive presence throughout our communities, with members remaining vigilant for suspicious individuals and criminal activity.

🚨 8 YEAR OLD FIGHTS FOR HIS LIFE AFTER HORRIFIC DOG ATTACK IN SUNFORD, PHOENIX 🚨

What was supposed to be an ordinary Sunday afternoon turned into a terrifying fight for survival for an eight year old boy and a family member after they were viciously mauled by two dogs along Bramford in the Sunford area of Phoenix.

It is believed that the young boy was walking with his family member when two dogs escaped from a nearby residential property and charged towards them. In a moment of absolute terror, the eight year old attempted to hide behind a family member for protection but the dogs continued their attack.

The family member desperately fought to protect his son and remove the dogs, sustaining multiple bite wounds across his body in the process. The attack left the young boy with life threatening injuries.

KZN VIP Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene, where medics were confronted with a severely injured child and his wounded a family member as well as another resident, 2 patients were immediately stabilised before being rapidly transported to hospital for urgent medical treatment.

However, the ordeal was far from over, Later that same evening, KZN VIP Medics were called back to the hospital after the child's condition required further urgent intervention and life saving surgery.

The eight year old was subsequently transferred under medical care to a specialist hospital for further treatment.

⚠️ THIS CHILD COULD HAVE LOST HIS LIFE.

The disturbing footage accompanying this incident serves as a painful reminder of what can happen within seconds when dogs are able to escape from a property.

Dogs may be loving and friendly animals within their own homes, but responsible pet ownership means recognising that an animal can still pose a danger to someone outside that environment especially a frightened and defenceless child.

🚨 FAMILY PETS TRAGICALLY KILLED IN PHOENIX HOUSE FIRE DURING EARLY HOURS OF SUNDAY MORNING 🚨

Family pets have tragically lost their lives following a devastating house fire in the Sunford area of Phoenix during the early hours of Sunday morning.

KZN VIP Emergency Medical and Security teams responded to requests for assistance after concerned neighbours noticed the property well alight.

It is believed that the occupants of the home were not at the premises at the time of the incident. Sadly, their family pets were still inside the house.

Emergency services worked to extinguish the blaze, and once the scene was brought under control, the remains of the pets were discovered inside the property. Extensive fire damage was also noted throughout the premises.

The exact circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire cannot be confirmed at this stage. Due to concerns surrounding the incident, the possibility of arson has not been ruled out and remains subject to investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have information that could assist with the investigation is urged to report it to the relevant authorities.
