THE NOSE KNOWS | SOME THINGS DO NOT STAY HIDDEN

The suspect had fled before police arrived. The premises, however, still had plenty to reveal.

On 8 September 2026, members of the Provincial Drugs and Fi***rm Unit conducted a raid at an identified premises in Umlazi, supported by Excellerate K9 as an external roleplayer.

The search resulted in the recovery of:

• 14 plastic packets of co***ne powder
• 196 ecstasy tablets
• R18,500 in cash

The recovered drugs were valued at approximately R21,600. All items were sealed and handed in at Umlazi SAPS.

A search of the surrounding area was conducted, but the suspect was not located.
