Holomatrix has recently been awarded a pilot project in Kenya to implement an advanced track-and-trace solution for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders, marking another important step in the company's expansion of innovative asset protection solutions across Africa.
Kenya's LPG industry faces ongoing challenges related to cylinder theft, fraud, unauthorised refilling, and the circulation of counterfeit or illegally traded gas bottles. These issues not only result in significant financial losses for suppliers but also create safety concerns and operational inefficiencies throughout the supply chain.
To help address these challenges, Holomatrix will deploy an integrated solution that combines its proven VERIDOT® Microdot Technology with the company's RADAR Track & Trace System. Together, these technologies provide a powerful platform for uniquely identifying, tracking, and managing gas cylinders throughout their lifecycle.
The solution will enable participating organisations to improve asset visibility, enhance accountability, reduce losses caused by theft and fraud, and gain greater control over cylinder movement across distribution networks. By creating a secure, traceable identity for each cylinder, the system also supports more efficient inventory management and strengthens regulatory compliance.
