Construction at the Club Med Vikela Safari Lodge is well underway, and this footage from December 2025 captures visible progress across the remote site in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Bulk earthworks are advancing, platforms are being shaped for lodge infrastructure and tented accommodation, and road networks are taking form. The scale and setting of the project require a carefully sequenced approach—balancing logistics, environmental context and technical delivery.

With all buildings complete, landscaping and other works are well advanced across multiple zones. The development is moving confidently through its final construction stages.
