🚨 COMMUNITY AMBULANCE FUND — CALLOUT UPDATE
*Homeland Security SA* and the *Homeland Security TRT – MGUIP* responded to a call for urgent medical assistance at a residence in Glen Grove.
On arrival, our members found a 50-year-old male experiencing severe difficulty breathing, with little to no movement on the left side of his body. Recognising the seriousness of his condition, members immediately requested urgent medical assistance.
As the resident did not have medical aid, *Homeland Security SA* activated the *Community Ambulance Fund* and dispatched *ALS Paramedics* to the scene. *ALS* arrived within minutes, treated the patient on scene and transported him to King George Hospital for urgent further medical treatment.
Numerous *Homeland Security SA* members attended and assisted with the response.
This is exactly why the *Community Ambulance Fund* exists: to help ensure that when a life-threatening emergency occurs, people can access urgent private ambulance assistance without the cost becoming a barrier to receiving care.
Thank you to every resident, business and stakeholder who supports this initiative. Your contributions make these emergency responses possible.
*For the Community. By the Community*.
Manor Gardens, Glenwood & Umbilo fund their own private ambulance callouts for life-threatening emergencies when no state ambulance can come.
