D & M Project Management Consultants is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Construction Lead/ Construction Manager to join our team for a dynamic short-term project in Durban. ๐ฃ๏ธ
๐๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ:
๐น Providing leadership and direction for the entire civil construction process, ensuring all activities are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
๐น Overseeing all aspects of construction, including scheduling, resource allocation, subcontractor management, and quality control.
๐น Developing and implementing a comprehensive project plan, including milestones and deliverables.
๐น Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges.
๐น Effectively communicating project progress and updates to stakeholders.
๐น Fostering a collaborative and productive working environment for the construction team.
๐๐จ ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ:
๐น A minimum of 10 years' experience in civil construction leadership roles.
๐น Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
๐น Strong planning and scheduling skills with a proactive approach to achieving deadlines.
๐น The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
๐น Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
๐นA valid South African driver's license.
๐นProfessional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) is a strong plus.
