Position: Telesales Contact Centre 2IC
Location: Springfield
Salary package: R12,000 CTC – R14,000 CTC
We're looking for a dynamic, strong individual with good leadership skills to act as a 2nd In Charge in the Kzn Telesales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proficient in using call centre software, systems and Microsoft
Administrative duties
Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong negotiation skills to drive sales performance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Self-motivated, able to adapt to an ambiguous sales environment
Manage customer relationships
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and leadership skills
Strong grasp on the company’s products, services and customer service policies
Manage inbound & outbound call volumes
Lead the outbound attack strategy
Evaluate staff effectiveness and performance weekly, monthly.
Maintains a good working relationship with the management team and stakeholders throughout the organization
Develop monthly, quarterly and annual call centre goals and action plans.
Prepare work schedules to ensure sufficient coverage.
Crisp oral and written ability in English
Professional knowledge of terminology, trends and concepts of sales and marketing
Analyse customer & telesales sales performance
Lead by example demonstrating passion for sales
Ensuring the extra mile culture is practised and maintained
Managing conflict resolution both internal and external
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and convert into sales opportunity
Provide analysis and reports on telesales and customer sales performance
Ability to stay calm in stressful situations and meet strict quotas
Analyse call centre data and prepare reports for upper management.
Requirements:
Relevant Higher Certificate, Advanced Certificate, or Diploma (NQF Level 6) qualification (Marketing, Sales, Business Administration).
Must have 3 to 5 years relevant experience
Proven experience as a Call Centre Team leader or similar role
Manage personnel employed in a contact centre.
Ability to deliver required results
Manage customer and supplier relations.
Manage and assure the achievement of contact centre quality standards.
Manage and control the efficiency of contact centre processes and technology.
Strong negotiation and sales skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Proficient in call centre software and CRM systems
Knowledge of performance evaluation procedures
A proven track record in cultivating strong customer relationships and driving customer
Proficiency in English; fluency in an additional regional language will be advantageous.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable personal transport.
Pharmaceutical experience a
Good negotiation & persuasion abilities.
Ability to thrive under pressure.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience:
Proven track record in Contact Centre
Fluent understanding of best practice in a Contact Centre sales environment
Ability to manage inbound and outbound call volumes /trends
Good Leadership qualities
Data Analytics
Sound knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Sector and market requirements
Experience in sales and marketing
