What this photo doesn’t show:
• One of us had been up all night with a child who refused to sleep.
• One had sinusitis.
• One was recovering from a tummy bug.
• One had a very sick dad at home and absolutely could NOT afford to catch said bugs.
And somehow, all of us still arrived.
If that isn’t a fairly accurate representation of women in business, we don’t know what is.
Because behind every meeting, deadline, content plan, client call and “no stress, we’ll sort it out” is usually a woman juggling about 14 other things nobody knows about.
We show up tired. We show up worried. We show up when life outside of work is doing the absolute most. And when one of us is running on empty, someone else steps in.
That’s probably one of our favourite things about being an all-women team at Blob + Bash. We figure it out together.
So, Happy Women’s Day from the five women in this photo who, on this particular day, were very much figuring it out as we went 🤍
