AfriDev Consulting is a consulting company led by young African professionals working for sustainable social development. AfriDev provides services in support of the policy, project management and staff training. AfriDev is a very young organisation with on board a team of young researchers and technicians providing expertise in the areas of development of the public health sector, human rights, d
emocratic governance and human security in the context of development. AfriDev consultation services include support for policy development, project management, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, studies and examinations and institutional development. We provide technical assistance and effective training that promote principles of gender equality, a rights-based approach, the prospects of actions and principles of human rights. As a pan-African organisation, AfriDev is based in South Africa with its services widespread on the continent and meet the needs of organisations operating in deep rural areas on the continent. We undertake missions on behalf of agencies, governments, and bilateral and multilateral institutions as well as civil society organisations. We also identify the organisations at the low level, studying the causes of their existence and we develop funding proposals to their account submitting them to potential partners and/or donors. To provide high quality services, we apply a continuous monitoring system of quality to ensure the effective and efficient performance of projects. We have substantial capacity for cross-sector expertise and support in our key areas. This expertise includes methods and capacity development approaches, results, management focused on results mapping, gender issues, peace and security, complex valuation methods, the development of civil society and challenges, aid effectiveness and recent development policies.
