With a rich history & reputation for networking, recognising & supporting women in business - "TO GROW TOGETHER THROUGH NETWORKING, SHARING AND ENTHUSIASM" Our primary focus is networking which is our platform to market our businesses, to connect and engage with firm business contacts and to build and develop meaningful business relationships and friendships. We offer various activities under our

banner besides our monthly networking events i.e UWA coffee club, UWA book club, UWA cares, UWA Achiever of the Year, UWA Advertising

Our UWA members are part of a community of like-minded, passionate business women and individuals. We are grateful for where we are and for what we do. We inspire and motivate each other while we aim for better business results and success. We support each other as we all follow a journey to grow and evolve into greater versions of ourselves as businesswomen and individuals. We would love to welcome you as a UWA member or guest at one of our events. For more info or enquiries, please email us: [email protected]

A true labour of love in the spirit of Mandela Day! Well done Ray!
Ray Till has generously and single-handedly knitted more than 67 Mandela Day Berets to raise vital funds for the The Open Door Crisis Care Centre .

100% of the money raised for every beret purchased will be donated to Open Door.

Order your Mandela Day Beret for R167 on the UWA Website, and simply collect it at the next UWA meeting (June or July meeting).

As the temperatures drop, a warm blanket can mean more than comfort, it can provide security, dignity, and hope. 🧡

Many of the women and children who arrive at The Open Door Crisis Care Centre come with very few belongings and face the cold winter months without the essentials they need.

We are currently appealing for donations of blankets, duvets, and warm bedding to help keep those in our care safe and comfortable during winter.

Your donation can make a difficult season a little easier and remind someone that they are not alone.

Donations can be dropped off at the next UWA June Networking Breakfast - High-Functioning High-Stress meeting or at Granny Griff's Sugar Shack or contact The Open Door Crisis Care Centre using the details below.
