When did you realise your skin colour made you different?
The Akoma Works Human Rights Social Experience turned stories about some societal problems into powerful narratives, featuring opinion pieces of Durban artists recalling their lived experiences on matters of race, hair, homophobia and sexual assault.

This project opened the dialogue about these issues to help people understand the challenges of being labelled, treated unfairly and proves that every story counts.
