Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) demystified:
- Environnmental criteria refers to environmental stewardship.
- Social criteria refers to how a company manages relationships with and creates value for stakeholders.
- Governance criteria refers to company leadership, management philosophy, practices, policies, internal controls, and a shareholder.

The "S" and "G" have dimensions which encapsulate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

DEI on "S" is about hiring practices, community engagement efforts and procurement strategies, and "G" is about diverse board / workforce that leads to more informed decisions that take the to the future.

ESG, as a framework, assesses how a company manages risks and opportunities that shifting markets and non-market comditions create.
