Soon descends the Night
Quite and calm
Hit the hay
One eye open
The crooked are out and about
Taking advantage of the innocent
Peril is imminent
Dark forces come out to play
Hard to keep the slumber at bay
Luminaries take center stage
The howling, chirping and clicking pleasures of nature
Restless souls hovering, so they say
Nightclub queens, so they slay
Without a dime but they still manage to pay
