The ACT Ubumbano will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa on 24-26 October 2023. The Solidarity Hub is a space where social justice activists are challenged to interrogate our own practice, to locate ourselves in the struggles of people against injustice, and to honestly and critically reflect where we have been complicit in perpetuating relations and behaviours that are not transformative and liberatory. It’s a space to share with others, to learn from the acts of resistance taking place every day, and to find ways to be in solidarity with those who defend their dignity and that of the environment.

There is always limited space available, so final invitations to participate will be sent to help create a demographically and geographically diverse group of participants. Young people are encouraged to apply.
