Our drone services makes use of accredited and licensed drone pilots as well as licensed drones. With the understanding 'practice makes perfect' and that ongoing training results in a prepared individual, MOSSC is also an accredited sport shooting association allowing licensed firearm owners and security professionals to compete in a safe environment whilst playing out active shooter scenarios. This also allows our members to receive points to gain dedicated status with our association and enjoy the perks of achieving this status as a firearm owner as set out by South African law.

Many people are asking us what the difference between the new QCTO system and the older SASSETA (unit standards / legacy) system of training are. Besides the fact that older legacy unit standards last date of enrollment as announced by SASSETA is 30 June 2026, with no new enrollments on this system being allowed after June 2026, below is a quick synopsis to answer that question:
