Ever since I can remember I had been ‘sorting out things’: I was constantly packing and unpacking my toy box, arranging little trinkets in my room, moving my bedroom furniture around, organising bookshelves, records, tapes - later CDs and DVDs AND I was even helping friends with dealing with personal challenges – in short ‘always organising’ in some or other manner! Over the years I’ve eventually
come to realise why this was such a passion of mine: My strive for harmony and contentment! An organised (not necessarily minimalistic) environment soothes me and provides space for clear thoughts and time to focus on the important things in my life. As a sucker for altruism, I now find the time to assist others in creating such environments! I am currently in the process of organising my own study – what an exciting experience this is! I am a hoarder of paper, be that old letters, school reports, essay books from school or just financial statements – the list is endless. But the great thing is the trip down memory lane! What a wonderful way to revisit my life journey! However, too much paper may prove to be a fire risk and as everything else in my house is 90% organised it is time to let go of some of these papers. As both student and teacher, this is a journey of learning for me in order to be able to assist anybody out there who know that they need to get this done too. As I progress on this journey, I will share my thoughts and feelings, so keep your eyes open – more to follow soon! PS: And if you have any ideas to share, please do so!
