Just a reminder to send the PAYE figures by 21 December or soon thereafter. This is to avoid starting the new year with penalties and interest.

GTM will be closing on 21 December 2018 and reopening on 7 January 2019. There will be a skeleton staff for emergencies

A lot of time has elapsed since the last posting. The problem is so much has happened. Moving to Durbanville was one of the reasons for not updating the page on a regular basìs. Work pressure was anothr reason. And also of course my visit to the hospital in September, October and November.

Now that al this has passed regular updates will occur.

The first update is to wish all our clients a happy and prosperous holiday season. Who ever is going away via road, train or aeroplane enjoy it and lets all come baxk safely in 2018.

GTM will be closed from 15 December 2017 till 8 January 2018.

GTM wants to thank all the clients for the support in 2017. I know it hasn't always been easy. Lets make lots more money in 2018, if we made money in 2017.(Lol).

Let us make 2018 the best year in business. I e Between 30 and 70% increase in turnover which will result in increased profits. That an example to work towards.

The clients that will be working the well deserved rest will come later.

So enjoy the well deserved break. See all in 2018.

Filing season opened for 2017. It is now for the rush to het the forms in. Please note the forms has changed. Make sure you have all the relevant information before completing the form. Certain info like medical aid and RA information has been prepopulated as is the IRP 5 info. Make sure this is correct before submitting the form.

The junk status of the economy is taking its toll on all businesses. If you need advice with your business dont hesitate to give us a call.

The government has found a new phrase" white monopoly capital" I am ssure they dont even know what it meaans. They must go and do a course called economics 101. What will happ3n if we start talking about "Black economic capital". Will probaly called a racist by the majority.

Its been about a year since the page had been updated. My apologise for that. Just was extremly busy with Sars issues. The Tax administration act has puy extra pressure on the practitioners. However I don't want to use this as excuse. Its the time of the year for IRP5's and tax forms. If you have any problem do not hesitate to contact us.

On a different note. The down grading to junk status will affect each and everyone of us in South Africa. Interest rates will defnitely increase. Probably by between 3 to 5 percentage points.Petrol prices will still rise at an alarming rate as the exchange rate will deteriorate drastically.

Some industries are already feeling the effect of the down grade.

Imports will also become very expensive. Due to the deterioration of the exchange rate.

The only way out is tighten the belt, get a new president and minister of finance. Mr Gigaba(I have called him Gigupta because of his relationship with the Guptad) is out of his depth
When your minister of finance says don't be phased by the down grade. It is very late in South Africa. How do you give someone a portfolio with no experience or knowledge of finance. Disaster.
