Managing Director: Maggie Louw
Maggie Louw, in her capacity as the Managing Director and majority shareholder of S.I.L.C (51%) is a multi-skilled and driven individual and takes great pride in excellent service delivery. She possess about twenty three (23) years’ working experience as an employee of the South African Police Service (SAPS) of which twelve (12) years were served as a specialised detective in SAPS as well as gaining skills and expertise having served in the Commercial Crime Unit for five (5) years. She also formed part of the Anti-Corruption Task Team (ACCT) project with the HAWKS and served as a Captain in the SAPS. Maggie possesses a post graduate Diploma in Forensic Investigations.
She worked as a Forensic Investigator, Assistant Manager in the Forensic division for Risk Advisory Services (RAS) of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Eastern Cape Assurance practice for four (4) years. Maggie has the ability to make business decisions and lead subordinates within a company and have good insight on corporate and organisational risks and matters.
Maggie has extensive experience due to having conducted numerous investigations/projects within the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Education (DoE), Department of Public Works (DoPW), Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC), National Treasury Projects, Department of Justice (DoJ) and also investigation at the Office of the Premier (OTP), Eastern Cape.
Maggie believes that she possess a keen understanding of what it entails to perform a Forensic Investigation from commencement to detailed reporting stage as well as the understanding of the challenges faced and the risks an investigator is exposed to in completing a forensic investigation. She prides herself in that she is very thorough in her investigations and due to this experience in the investigation field she knows how to deal with complex investigations.
