Compelling offers can turn complete strangers into customers. So how does this work?

Well, have you ever felt compelled to download some interesting information from some or other website? Like a free guide, a checklist, a template or some information you'd like to have.

That's an example of a specific type of compelling offer - an information offer. Without these offers, you'll be allowing a massive chunk of potential sales disappear into vapour.

The free offer contains information of value that would help your prospect to solve a problem or issue that your product or service solves.

When designed correctly, it literally “pre-qualifies” your ideal prospects.

For example, a chiropractor may provide pain relief info and would attract a broad set of people who want info on pain relief as a result.

However, if the chiropractor provides information about pain relief for fibromyalgia sufferers, it would immediately attract the attention of those specific prospects.

Secondly, If your product or service requires your prospects to be educated on your unique benefits then free information can prove to be a very powerful technique to use. And you end it off with a compelling incentive offer to book an appointment with you or to buy your stuff.

Give your information offer an attractive and compelling name. This is the first thing people see. For example; The 5 Questions You Should Ask Your Paving Contractor That Will Save You Thousands!

How many times have you gone to a specific business because someone gave that business a good recommendation?

Even though the person giving the referral may be a complete stranger, there is something about a live person recommending a specific product or service that gives it legitimacy.

A powerful referral system can increase your "bottom line" by 5% to 20% or more.

I bet, as a business owner, you've known you need to ask for referrals for a long time already (come on Peter, this is common sense), but I also bet that you've probably not done much about it.

What holds us back is the fear of asking for referrals 😱

But this is important, because unless we ask, we don't get.

Look at it this way, you've worked hard to build a solid business and to give your clients great products and great service to match.

And they love you and what your business does for them. 🔥

You've earned the right to ask! So don't be afraid to ask.

Here are some tips to get a referrals system going in your business:

1️⃣ ASK for referrals from happy and satisfied customers on a consistent basis

2️⃣. Make sure your reward system is in place and make it as generous as you can, whether with cash or free services.

3️⃣. Let your customers know about your "rewards" for your referral system.

4️⃣. Create a compelling referral incentive that excites your prospective clients enough to give your business a try

5️⃣. Follow up immediately with every new referral consistently and systematically.

By asking for referrals at the right time and even running "ask" campaigns every few months... you generally won’t wear out your welcome or make your clients feel pressured.

Just be sure you monitor your results so you can perfect your timing... and never allow yourself to believe your clients just don’t know anyone they can refer.

Everyone knows at least 10 to 20 people… and many often know hundreds. But even if they only know 10, then those 10 also know 10… and so on.
