MACDUFF SECURITY SERVICES opened its doors for operation in 1997 with only one goal in mind to give
the best service possible to our clients, and through dedication and commitment, we look after our biggest asset
“OUR EMPLOYEES”. We believe with a satisfied employee we will have a satisfied customer.
MACDUFF SECURITY has a 24 hour control room situated in Vosloorus Town equipped to handle any
emergency. The controllers are also in contact with a supervisory vehicle to ensure that our client’s property,
assets and people are well guarded.
Our operation manager has been in security industry since 1989 with the South African Police Force for a
period over 17 years. MACDUFFF currently operates in Gauteng, only provides security officers and
Store Detectives to industrial corporate and retail premises. Job descriptions are issued to every security officer at
MACDUFF. All our employee’s are evaluated on six months basis for services well provided and are Wages
Determination in terms Provident Fund the Basic conditions of Employment Act 75 of 1997 and also provides a
Burial Provident Fund to all our employees. We are currently in the process of introducing a medical aid to our
employees.
Our management team will ensure that our clients continuously receive the best service possible. We guarantee
you that within 30 minutes of receiving a call for a problem at our clients premises, a member of management
will be there.

LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
SELECTION AND TRAINING OF SECURITY OFFICERS
The process where security officers receive training for the different scopes in the security
industry, is a vast delegate matter. We believe that any application can complete and this
applicant would become a reliable, honest and motivated security officer.
Therefore, it is the policy of the company that all applicants will go through an extensive 8
point evaluation procedure. Applicants are tested for period of 3 this would include:
* Financial Risk Evaluation
* Medical Examination
* Polygraph Test “ on clients request”
* Previous references are checked
* Hygiene evaluation
* Experience in the Security Field (course completed)
* Extensive Interview
The selection of security officers will then proceed to the normal selection procedure:
* Minimum Grade 10 certificate
* Be fluent in both official languages
* Be in possession of a South African Identity Document

We commit ourselves to strive for the highest standard of service to our clients which also includes the
following:
* We are dedicated in our belief that, should a problem arise on the client premises, we guarantee that a
members of management will report to the premise within one hour of receiving a call. Failing to do so, we will
credit the client for the full day’s payment for services rendered.
* MACDUFF ARMED RESPONSE will provide free of charge, once a month an armed response office to
assist the client with the payout of wages/ es**rt to and from the bank.
* On a three monthly basis, our operation manager would visit our client’s premises and complete an up-to-date
security survey to be handed over to the client.

The applicant will be fingerprinted and an application would be to the Security Office’s Board for registration.
The applicant’s fingerprinted/ ID copy would be checked by the S.A.P to confirm does not mean that he has
been dishonest before. The applicant may have been dishonest before but never prosecuted.
Therefore, we know that the polygraph tests would give us a indication as to type of person we are
going to employ, giving a full history repot of the applicant.
TRAINING
Our training overs a period of 14 days, whereafter, if passing the course, the applicant would be ready to be
posted at our client’s premises.
