Moya Meaker Wines, situated in Elgin, currently has a position available for a dynamic Assistant Winemaker to join their team. The position will also involve supervision of certain viticultural practices throughout the year.

The ideal candidate primarily has an unrivalled passion for winemaking and viticulture, but also has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to perform well in both team context and individually.

Essential minimum qualifications, skills and experience:
BSc Agric Viticulture and Oenology, Elsenburg Qualification in Cellar Technology or similar, with the main interest in Oenology and Viticulture;
Approximately 3-5 years' winemaking and viticultural experience
Experience in recordkeeping related to IPW, SAWIS, etc.
Valid forklift license;
Reliable own transport with valid driver’s license;
Willingness to work hours as per wine industry requirements.
