Fraud Specialist
Industry: Banking & Financial Services
Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg – Central
Remuneration: R28,000 – R30,000 Monthly Basic Salary
Our client is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Fraud Specialists to join their team and help protect the integrity of their banking operations.
This role plays a critical part in identifying, evaluating, and implementing fraud mitigation strategies to safeguard the organisation from financial loss.
Key Responsibilities:
🟠 Identify, evaluate, and implement effective fraud mitigation strategies.
🟠 Monitor and analyse suspicious activity, respond to security alerts, and report threats accurately.
🟠 Collaborate with internal departments to resolve fraud cases and escalate where necessary.
🟠 Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
🟠 Maintain high service standards for both internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
🟠 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
🟠 Experience in banking, fraud prevention, or risk management (preferred).
🟠 Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced team environment.
🟠 Excellent communication and reporting skills.
🟠 High attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying risks.
