Every bottle has a sense of place 🍷

At Mont Rochelle, that place is Franschhoek. Here, vines grow across the slopes of the Klein Dassenberg Mountains, 250-400 metres above sea level, where dry summers, winter rainfall and cool southeasterly winds create a longer, slower ripening season.

The story continues in our historic cellar, dating back to the 1850s when it was originally a fruit-packing shed. Today, it processes around 150 tonnes of grapes each season, transforming Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyard to bottle.

A w**e shaped by the soil beneath the vines, the climate above them and generations of knowledge in between.
