Spring has definetly arrived at Topiary 🌸🍇

The Franschhoek valley is waking up : the vineyard is turning green again, wild flowers are bringing colour back to the farm, and another season begins in the vineyard. At Topiary, the w**e starts long before the cellar.
The same Terroir.
A new season.
A new story waiting to unfold.

🌸 Spring has arrived in Franschhoek

There's a moment every year we look forward to on the farm, when the first blossoms open along the vines and the whole valley seems to wake up at once. It's still early days, but you can already feel the shift: longer light, warmer soil, and the promise of the season ahead.

This is one of our favorite times to walk the vineyard, watching the buds swell and knowing the year's story is just beginning.

Here's to new growth 🌿🍇

👋Say hello to Niclas
Meet our new Junior Viticulturist. Freshly graduated from Elsenburg with a cellar technology diploma in hand, Niclas grew up among the vineyards of Paarl, where family life revolved around w**emaking and farm life. Those early mornings among the vines shaped his hands-on approach and deep respect for the land.

An outdoors person at heart, he’s happiest beneath the open sky, learning about soil, vine and season. Friendly, curious and fiercely motivated, Niclas is ready to roll up his sleeves and learn viticulture from the ground up. He's bringing fresh energy and a love for craft to our team.

Join us in welcoming him at Topiary 🥂

Happy Mother’s Day from the heart of the vines 🌿🍷

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the women who make life softer, warmer, and more beautiful. 🌸🍷

The mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and friends who gather us around the table, fill our homes with love, and turn ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Join us in raising a glass to the women who love endlessly and give so much of themselves every day. 🥂

With love from Topiary 🤍
