Tiro Development Solutions is a Local Internet Café that seeks to provide access to ICT infrastructure to members of our community, especially the youth in high schools and those who are seeking job opportunities.

During January we witness a lot of Matric learnes being frustrated and in distress due to lack to access and admission to institutions of higher learning including universities and TVET colleges. Most learners also struggled to secure the necessary funding required to pursue their studies. As mentioned above, we are an institution that seeks to improve the lives of our people, especially those who do not have access to the ICT infrastructure. For this reason, Tiro Development Solutions is implementing a programme named " to ONE is Access to to ALL", to help learners and anybody who desire to further their studies, to apply and register at various institution seamlessly. We take the "pain" out of this process.

At a minimal fee of R250 we will help students apply, register and seek funding early in the year to avoid the rush, stress, worry and pressures associated with last-minute applications experienced by most learners at the beginning of each year. You assist each applicant to apply to a minimum of five institutions.

PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
This generic assessor unit standard is for those who assess people for their achievement of learning outcomes in terms of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments. The outcomes and criteria may be defined in a range of documents including but not limited to unit standards, exit level outcomes, assessment standards, curriculum statements and qualifications.

Those who achieve this unit standard will be able to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise. This unit standard will contribute towards the achievement of a variety of qualifications, particularly within the fields of Education Training and Development Practices and Human Resource Development.

People credited with this unit standard are able to carry out assessments in a fair, valid, reliable and practicable manner that is free of all bias and discrimination, paying particular attention to the three groups targeted for redress: race, gender and disability.
