Smarter mining starts below the surface.

The new underground crushing plant is part of Ivanplats' reef hoisting strategy, enabling ore and waste to be crushed underground before being hoisted to the surface.

A key milestone in underground operations has been achieved with the commissioning of a rock breaker at the 950-metre level.
