I almost can't find words for this past weekend....
But here's the words of one of the campers and some photos taken by phones during the camp, while we create a video/ slide of footage, and testimonies to be shared later this week.
Watch this space!
"My testimony of camp.
Jesus, just wow...
He stripped me down and lay, again, the foundation of worship. True worship!
Being surrounded by other people absolutely hungry for God, was such an encouragement. I am not running this road alone.
God gave me such an amazing, joyful love for everyone on camp, I couldn't help but hug everyone and tell them I love them when saying goodbye.
The more I seek God, the more I know how merciful He is towards me, for I know that He deserves more than I could ever give, and yet He accepts my broken praise.
I had a vision, when the whole camp was standing in a circle, each one taking a turn to pray. Jesus, as described in Revelation, with radiance, shinning bronze feet, pure white hair and flaming eyes, tongue sharper than any two edged sword. Jesus in His full glory, and brilliance, no longer a man, turning to each one as they prayed and listening to their broken praise and earnest requests. He looked past the prideful demands, selfish requests and sinful hearts and He listened to us anyway, having mercy on His servants.
I cannot begin to say how encouraging and inspiring, solidifying and challenging this camp was. My heart warms up just thinking of my brothers and sisters that I met 3 days ago.
To the all consuming God be the glory, power, dominion and the praise, forever and ever. Amen!"
