Another stunning winter day in Cape Town! & we had such fun last night meeting new people at our online speed-dating event. Are you an introvert and feel too shy to join? No need! We're upbeat and make the whole process easy and non-awkward. We provide ice-breaker questions for each of your dates, although if you don't find the topic interesting you can of course ignore them and chat about whatever you want! The dates only last 5-6 minutes, and you'll be surprised at how fast the time goes by! We've had excellent feedback; everyone seems to really enjoy it, and it's a good break from the lockdown. For those who haven't attended before, it's a very low key, fun virtual event - we make it non-awkward with ice-breaker questions, and you only spend 5-6 minutes chatting to each date. Another glorious winter day in Cape Town! Make sure you're out and about - the virus risk is much lower outside, and fresh air and nature are good for your mental health. So, too, is socialising, and the pandemic has really reduced our ability to do that. Our online speed-dating events, however, let you meet new people from the safety and comfort of your own home. And 5 or 6 minutes can give you a quick indication whether or not to pursue a friendship or possible romance.
