6 October 2011 - I finished my last shift as full time waitress (for 11 years), part time photographer;
8 October 2011 - I photographed the wedding of Andrรฉ and Elaine Kies at De Vette Mossel - Grootbrak - one of our top venues which i worked at so often that I called it my 2nd home ๐ (Thank you Nicolien Geyer)
9 October 2011 - I photographed Andrรฉ and Elaine's trash the dress at 08:00 that Sunday morning at that same beach and 3 hours later I was on a plane to Germany (for a whole 6 days - looking back I was crazy!) On my return my career as a full time photographer just took off!
So today ... ๐ด ๐ข๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ .... I am celebrating ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ of full time photography in George. ๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ธ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ!
Not in my wildest dreams did I think I would accomplish this! And to top it people voted me Best of George - Best Photographer - 2 years in a row! 2023 and 2024. What an honor!
My photography studio is up and running for 12 years already - not in my own premises, but paying rent for 12 years! And thank you to our Heavenly Father, I am very fortunate to say I never missed a payment. ๐๐ป
