Before you toss that pile into the machine, a few seconds of prep can be the difference between a "fresh find" and a "wardrobe tragedy". Here are the expert pre-washing steps to keep your garments looking vibrant and new:

🔒 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲
𝗭𝗶𝗽𝘀 & 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗿𝗼: Close all zippers and Velcro strips to prevent them from snagging or tearing other fabrics during the cycle.

𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗽𝘀 & 𝗛𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀: Fasten any snaps or hooks to avoid damage to the machine drum or other clothing.

𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀: Unlike zippers, buttons should be unbuttoned to prevent the thread from pulling and weakening over time.
