The HIV epidemic is brought to global attention every year on the 1st of December. It is an opportunity for organizations and individual communities to unite efforts towards increasing HIV awareness, speaking out against HIV stigma, and calling for a more robust response to end the HIV Epidemic.

We came together as AMPA employees, to compete in THE AMPA W.A.D QUIZ ROUND. This is a short quiz that tests our knowledge and highlights a few important facts about HIV. What an insightful moment we all had!!! The quiz engaged all the staff, and created the right conversation which resulted in an eye opening moment or two for most of us.

The supply of ABS and PST is challenging at the best of times. Currently the problems have escalated, especially with shipment bottlenecks, new regulations and price hikes.

Challenges drive innovation and this is why AMPA decided to test the waters with an alternative material that would provide our customers with a substitute product that is locally sourced, readily available and cost effective. PPH has the same properties and quality print finish that ABS and PST are both known for.

A picture is worth a 1000 words. The visual proof of our weathering test for ABS | PST(UV) | PST | PPH, is below. We exposed all the materials to different climate conditions for up to 448 hours which equals 2 years and 3 months in real time. Even bottomless cold water couldn't keep us cool in this searing summer heat, when an ice cream truck appeared out of nowhere in the AMPA parking lot.

It was the sweetest surprise โ€ฆ we all recognized the reminiscent sound, but no one expected what happened next. A group WhatsApp announced: โ€œAfternoon guys, please come and get ice cream by the parking area, everyone - factory and admin.โ€ It felt as if the CEO hired our very own AMPA ice cream delivery truck to save the day. Instantly we became little kids again, munching away at our ice cream cones.

Our factory staff are the soul of AMPA. They are the gears that keep our manufacturing plant in motion, from production to cutting, packing, and loading. Saturday was a cold, cloudy and gloomy day with quite a few visibly under-the-weather faces.

A big part of our culture is to create a positive experience for our staff and it was an ideal day to surprise our factory team with a โ€œyum to my tumโ€ hot meals. Nothing could rain on our โ€œ๐’๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐…๐จ๐จ๐ ๐’๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒโ€ parade.

Highlight of the day? Knowing that such a small gesture could lead to surprised faces, satisfied smiles, and a huge collective โ€œthank youโ€, made the day both cheerful and rewarding.

A post with a twist. Today we enjoyed being children again๐Ÿ˜Š and if you are considering trick โ€“ or treating this Halloween, then DO IT! Itโ€™s sooo worth it.

Not sure if it's the sugar rush with all the treats or shock-induced emotions followed by the scared facial expressions, but the aura around the office was P-H-E-N-O-M-E-N-A-L.

Psychotic patients, bloodied limbs and werewolves, spiders and bats hanging from webs, these were all the right combinations for the lunchtime horror movie hour. Thanks to AmpaFlex, the barrier tapes demarcated the fake crime scene extremely effectively.
