As part of our rebrand launch, members of the IMT leadership team share what our new brand stands for.
Every shift begins with a promise that every person who enters a mine will return home safely at the end of each day. Everything we do at IMT begins with protecting that promise.

IMT celebrates rebrand with Golf Day at Mooipoort Golf Club

As part of our rebrand launch celebrations, IMT hosted a golf day at Mooipoort Golf Club under incredible blue skies.

We were delighted to welcome our partners, clients, colleagues and friends for a relaxed and enjoyable day on the course. Seasoned golfers and first-time players alike brought plenty of good humour and a healthy competitive spirit to the fairways.

For IMT, the real value of the day was the opportunity to connect with our partners and colleagues outside the usual working environment. Conversations started on the course continued over the Boma dinner and during the prize-giving, creating opportunities to strengthen relationships that extend beyond business.

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success.

Expert Nerospec Oscon, Wabtec and IMT teams are in the field in Gamsberg, Northern Cape this week for Technology Readiness Testing on Liebherr mining trucks.

We’re working together to deploy the Wabtec Gen 3 CAS system, a Level 9 solution. This Wabtec technology brings high-precision GNSS accuracy, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication and advanced intervention controls to achieve the mine’s Zero Harm goals.

Nerospec Oscon specialises in the Trackless Mobile Machine Interface (TMMI), which integrates with the machine control systems to enable real-time data retrieval and ex*****on of commands.

Our IMT teams manage all planning, integration and ex*****on activities, including due diligence, implementation, testing, commissioning and ongoing operational support. IMT ensures the seamless integration and alignment between OEM technologies, site controls, people and processes, turning complexity into certainty.

Not one but three IMT teams took part in the CEO Cycle Challenge this week, digging deep and riding hard for 25 minutes in support of the South African Hall of Fame Legacy Project. And what a vibe it was!

For the second year running, we were proud to pedal for a purpose and back a cause that helps create opportunities for talented young South Africans to reach their full potential.

Three years on, South Africa's Level 9 compliance gap isn't a technology problem. It's an implementation challenge.
When the Mine Health and Safety Act's automatic intervention requirements came into force in December 2022, many expected a quick shift to full Level 9 capability. Instead, much of the industry is still working through verification.

Today, Probe IMT officially becomes IMT - Integrated Mining Technologies.

The name has changed. Our purpose hasn't.

For years, our customers stopped asking us for products. They started asking us to solve bigger problems - integrating technologies, improving safety, increasing productivity, and helping them make better decisions in some of Africa's most demanding mining environments. We evolved into a different company, a partner that turns complexity into certainty.

Today, we’re excited to launch a new brand identity that reflects who we are.

Alongside our new brand identity, we are proud to announce a strengthened shareholding structure that reflects our commitment to transformation, growth and long-term value creation. We have welcomed three highly regarded South African private equity firms - AIH Capital, Kleoss Capital and Ditiro Capital — to our shareholder base. All three are black-owned, while AIH Capital and Ditiro Capital are also women-led, further strengthening our commitment to meaningful transformation.
