Spot Watch Security - Germiston & Boksburg Thirty two years have elapsed, and everyone has grown older - in fact much older – and Gert employed skilled personnel to assist him with key operations.

Spot Watch Security was established 32 years ago by the owner Gert Jansen van Vuuren with the sole aim to provide security to the people of Dinwiddie, Verwoerdpark, Lambton and adjacent areas. Gert grew up in the area and after establishing SWS he himself led the team of Reaction officers and over the years the technical side as well as Guarding divisions developed. He remains hands on until this very day and is available to see clients and prospective clients whenever required to do so as SWS is still his main priority. He is actively involved with the local CPFs and SAPS and is playing an important role in setting up the surveillance cameras in the area.

*🚨 SUCCESS REPORT - SWS TACTICAL & AFRIFORUM JOINT OPERATION 🚨*

*📍 AREA: Mimosa Park, Germiston*

Last night, while conducting joint visibility patrols in the Mimosa Park area together with *Afriforum*, our SWS Tactical team noticed suspicious activity.

We observed individuals working on an electricity light pole, busy connecting power.

Our team immediately stopped with Afriforum to investigate.

At first, the individuals claimed to be from the *Ekurhuleni Municipality*. However, after further questioning and fact finding, it was determined that they were lying.

It was established that it was in fact a community member who was connecting electricity *illegally*.

*Elsburg SAPS* was immediately dispatched to the scene.

✅ *The individuals working on the pole were detained and taken to Elsburg SAPS for further investigation.*

Another great example of what happens when security and community work together to stop crime!

Thank you to Afriforum for the excellent teamwork and to Elsburg SAPS for the swift response.

*_WATHINT' ABAFAZI, WATHINT' IMBOKODO. YOU STRIKE A WOMAN, YOU STRIKE A ROCK._ 🇿🇦*

In South Africa, we are tired. Tired of our sisters, our mothers, our daughters living in fear. Tired of seeing suspects commit these cowardly acts and just disappear.

Today, we said *NO MORE.*

We received an urgent call from Community Leaders in Leondale of a suspect wanted in connection with a Attempted murder . A woman had been brutally attacked in her own community. Stabbed multiple times and left in critical condition, fighting for her life in hospital. The victim was stabbed in Leondale last month.

She survived,And she is currently recovering at home. The victim and her family deserves justice.

Without hesitation, *Tango Mike, Tango Delta and BullzEye Security Ops* responded. Together with *Alberton SAPS CRIME PREVENTION UNTI*, we linked up with the *A-Team* on the ground and launched a joint operation to find the suspect.

The suspect was identified on scene. When he saw us, he ran. He tried to flee multiple times, thinking he could evade us like so many do.

He was wrong.

As one unit, we worked together. We coordinated, we cornered, and we closed the net on a highly dangerous suspect who thought he was UNTOUCHABLE. We proved that together, criminals stand no chance in a united South Africa. 🇿🇦

The suspect was officially booked and taken into custody by ALBERTON SAPS and will now face the full might of the law.

This is our promise to South Africa: We will not stand by and watch while our women are being brutally attacked and murdered. If you attack our communities, we WILL come for you.

*You strike our women, you strike a rock. A nation of men will come for you.*

Date: 1st October
Location: Airport Precinct
Outcome: Internal theft uncovered, suspect apprehended, company infrastructure secured

On Thursday morning we received an urgent dispatch from one of our clients close to the airport. The report was a male on site stealing copper from the company premises.

Without delay, *Tango Mike and Tango Charlie* were dispatched to the location.

Upon arrival, our officers secured the site and began investigating the disturbance. What we uncovered was not what anyone expected.

It was discovered that one of the on-duty security members from another service provider, who was entrusted to protect the building, was in fact the one stripping and stealing the copper infrastructure from inside the company building.

The suspect was immediately detained , all stolen material was recovered, and the client was notified. The site was secured to prevent any further loss.

This incident is a sharp reminder that the biggest threat sometimes comes from inside. Not all security is the same - vigilance, integrity checks, and rapid response is what makes the difference.

For us, it is not just about responding to crime, it is about protecting our clients' assets, even when the threat is from those meant to guard them.

On the morning of the 29th of September, we received a distress call on our WhatsApp group from one of our clients in Lambton requesting urgent assistance.

Without hesitation, our tactical team was dispatched.

On arrival, we found the DB board on fire and locked, with smoke filling the area. In that moment, every second mattered.

Our team quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher and managed to extinguish the fire before it could spread to the rest of the wiring in the property.

The client's relief said it all. His home was saved, and we saved him thousands of rands in electrical repairs and potential damage.

This is a reminder that protection is not only about criminals. It is also about being there when your home and what matters most is at risk.

For us, it is never just a job. It is about people, it is about homes, it is about showing up fast when it counts.

Date: 19 September
Location : Elsburg

Just before knock-off time, Tango Mike was conducting random crime prevention patrols when he received a SNIPR alert for a wanted
vehicle in the area

Without hesitation, Tango Mike and G7 responded to the Elsburg area and began searching every street.

Shortly after, we spotted the vehicle traveling on Voortrekker Road and turned onto Van Der Merwe Road. We pursued and pulled the vehicle over safely.

Tango Mike approached the driver with respect and dignity and enquired about the vehicle. The driver, who is an SWS client, confirmed the vehicle belongs to his mother and stated he was unaware it had been reported

Elsburg SAPS was called to the scene to verify the vehicle.

Upon investigation, it was established that our client is a innocent victim. His number plate had been cloned and fitted to a similar vehicle that was used in an armed robbery and other atrocities

Crucially, the suspect description for the Benoni case was three armed Bravo Mikes, and not our client, confirming our client was not involved.
After further investigation, The vehicle has since been taken in for clearance to give our client peace of mind that his vehicle is no longer wanted for a crime he did not commit.

This incident is a reminder that bad things can happen to good, law-abiding people, and that every situation must be approached with professionalism, respect and human dignity.
