Morning everyone,

I hope you and your family are safe.

As we all know that last week has been absolutely chaos around the KZN area with disruption all over the place, fires burning, looting of goods and people being petrified to even leave their homes!!

I must say that what I have experienced in the Upper Highway area with all the community standing together to protect the area, shops etc has been amazing and rewarding and a big THANK YOU goes out to all of you that were involved. It has been a long few days....

It was also noticed that many a vehicle has been used to loot stolen goods of which some of them have been company vehicles with their branding on it. Whether it was actually the driver involved or the vehicle being stolen and used to transport goods, it still brings the company name into disrepute. Obviously this will have to be investigated asap so that businesses can get back to normal and that is where I'm happy to assist you going forward. We do not know which of our employees were involved over the last few days but I'm sure that it will come out in the near future after many discussions that will be held.

If you would like any assistance with your staff, whether it be a general counselling session with them or you have handed them a notice to attend a disciplinary enquiry, I am here to assist you!!!

Morning everyone,

Just to let you know that I'm still available to chair any hearings that are out there that need a mutual chairperson.

I am also doing monthly retainers with clients and this includes the following -
1) Making sure the employee's contracts are all in place.
2) Discipline on site. Counselling / warnings etc.
3) Weekly / fortnightly meetings with the staff to sort out any issues or queries that they may have.
4) Any IR related issue
