1. Know your schedule and the load shedding status by using apps like Eskom Se Push or Twitter.

2. Before load shedding Save your work regularly - either manually or by setting up auto-save options in your software so that if the power goes out unexpectedly, you won't lose your work.

3. Keep your batteries charged: Make sure that your phone, laptop and other electronic devices are always charged.

4. Electronic Equipment can be damaged by sudden power surges so protect your tech by waiting until the power has been fully restored BEFORE you switch the plugs back on. Alternatively invest in SURGE PROTECTORS.

Surge protectors, are cost effective and will minimise the risk of power surges damaging your tech equipment.👋

Step 1: Remove your phone/device from the case.
Step 2: Switch off your phone/device.
Step 3: Wash your hands.
Step 4: Take an anti-bacterial wipe or soft cloth with an alcohol-based disinfectant cleaner and gently wipe down the outside of the phone/device. (Please ensure the cloth/wipe is not excessively wet).
Step 5: Let the phone/device air dry for up to 5 minutes before using it again.
Step 6: Use a clean paper towel to wipe away any leftover moisture. *Avoid the ports. *Repeat steps 3-6 with phone case
This can be repeated daily👋
