Inkombandlela Accountants cc (Inkombandlela is a Zulu word meaning “Show the Way”) was formed in January 2000 and officially registered in September 2000 by a visionary and energetic youth who saw the need to address the gap in the accounting profession in South Africa especially in black communities. Inkombandlela immediately charged itself with the responsibility of assisting, encouraging and pr
oviding accounting, management services and training to small and large businesses. Inkombandlela is also promoting the accounting profession in local community. In January 2003 a division of Inkomba Chartered Accountants of South Africa (Practice No. 900765) was formed and registered as a practicing company with Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB) now called Independent Regulator Board for Auditors (IRBA). This division is specializing with auditing large private and public sector. In 2009 a sister company was established called Inkomba Verification Agency (BVA 126) to perform the B-BBEE verification, develop a score card and issue a BEE Certificate in line with dti codes of good practice and SANAS R47-02.
