Don't be too much of a perfectionist!

You are NATURALLY beautiful. For you and your plants, function and purpose are part of the picture.
Plants naturally age and they transfer stored nutrient from older parts to new, growing areas.
It's referred to as senescence.
Don't remove the discoloured, aging leaves too early in natural systems. Allowing the plants to do what they are designed to do will play into the natural cycle and cost you less.

Natural beauty is the best beauty there is.

So how to turn them into opportunities.... Well first of all catch as match of the rainwater and save it and store it as possible. It's the best water and it's for free so that would be step one but step two would be making sure that we don't have losses like flooding and in this case are sump tanks are almost overflowing!
