We didn’t wait until we had enough money.

And we didn’t wait until we had the courage to start.

We started with belief.

The belief that we could.
The belief that Black women deserved to be represented in the w**e industry.
The belief that we could build something of our own.

Looking back, she had no idea how difficult, exciting, frustrating and rewarding the journey would be.

This is our journey. And this was Day One.
