🚨 ATTEMPTED TRUCK HIJACKING ON THE R103 🚨

Earlier today, at approximately 13:20 we received an urgent backup call from our fellow brothers Heidelberg AfriForum together with Rensburg Forum regarding an attempted truck hijacking on the R103. members quickly sprang into action to go help along with other role who responded to the scene. Upon arrival, it was established that suspects had attempted to hijack a truck and trailer. Information gathered on scene indicated that the suspects had disconnected the original horse from the trailer and connected the trailer to another horse brought by the suspects in an attempt to remove the load from the area. we quickly joined the search of the occupants, including the driver who was missing from the scene. Only one truck assistant was located on scene. An extensive search operation was immediately launched involving ground teams and drone support in an effort to locate both the missing occupants and the suspects involved. upon an intensive search several individuals matching the general description of the suspects were spotted in nearby fields, resulting in a coordinated pursuit by multiple teams. The individuals were later identified as not being connected to the incident. The truck was successfully recovered and returned to the owner. the three missing occupants had still not been located, and the matter remained under investigation by SAPS detectives and the Provincial Truck Hijacking Unit.

🚨"FRIENDLY WARNING/REMINDER & AWARENESS" 🚨 Regarding these pallet guns that are used to commit crimes is that in court and when complainants/victims are writing statements they are regarded as fi****ms and you will be charged accordingly so with the use of an unlicensed firearm/pointing of a firearm and intimidation etc... in a worce case scenario, a lawful owner of a licensed firearm will use theirs "Akuthume uphuthu" in self-defense, not knowing that you possessed a pallet gun. It's always fun and games putting victims in traumatic situations until someone loses their life.

🥷"SUCCESS" 🥷On Thursday night, we received a call from Ratanda SAPS about an armed robbery that just took place in one of the local businesses and Quickly members were dispatched to the scene and upon arrival we followed up on the information and description given by the victims and went on the search. A few minutes later, the suspects were spotted, and members gave chase and managed to apprehend one suspect who had a toy gun and knives on him believed to have used in the commission of the crime. The suspect was then handed over to Ratanda SAPS for further investigation, A case was opened.🫡🥷🚨🚨🚨

🚨 ARMED ROBBERY FOILED AS SWIFT RESPONSE LEADS TO SUSPECT'S ARREST 🚨

At approximately 07:45 this morning, Rensburg Forum received a voice note alert regarding an armed robbery in progress at Heidelberg Auctioneers & Livestock Market.

Information received indicated that a group of armed suspects had allegedly held employees at gunpoint, tied them up, and locked them inside a storeroom before fleeing the scene.

Without hesitation, members of Rensburg Forum responded immediately. During the operation, a Rensburg Forum member successfully apprehended and disarmed one of the suspects. Silver Security Group quickly joined and assisted in securing the suspect while additional role players were activated.

🚨 ARME ANTI- CRIME UNIT immediately launched a search for the remaining suspects and vehicles involved. AfriForum Heidelberg , Ochrana Risk Solutions (ORS), Crime Stop Heidelberg , Fidelity ADT Heidelberg, SAPS Heidelberg, Lesedi Traffic, and community volunteers all joined the operation.

A firearm and a signal-jamming device were recovered from the arrested suspect. The suspect was handed over to SAPS Heidelberg for further investigation.

A special word of appreciation goes to every responder involved, and particularly to the Rensburg Forum member whose quick thinking and bravery contributed to the successful arrest of the suspect.
