Every vintage is different, subtly shaping what eventually finds its way into the bottle. Yet through it all, one thing remains unchanged: our commitment to the Taaibosch Crescendo and to producing the very best the estate has to offer.
Led by Cabernet Franc, Taaibosch Crescendo is a classic Bordeaux-style blend shaped by its remarkable origin. Situated approximately 14 km outside Stellenbosch in the foothills of the Helderberg mountain, the Taaibosch Estate experiences temperatures around 4 to 5°C cooler than Stellenbosch. The result is a wine of refinement, showing earthy and herbaceous characteristics rather than the darker fruit profile often associated with Stellenbosch Bordeaux blends.
But the true beauty of Crescendo has always been its texture.
It fills the mouth with layers that unfold slowly and linger long after the first sip. A texture shaped by life in the vineyards, the quality of our grapes and soils, and the attention given to every detail in the cellar.
Organic farming practices, respect for the environment and minimal intervention all contribute to a wine crafted not only for today, but with the potential to evolve beautifully for decades to come.
And once again, Crescendo has been recognised among South Africa’s finest.
