One of the most common questions we get from UK visa applicants is whether they need to have their flights booked before submitting their application.

The good news? No! You generally do not need to purchase confirmed flights before applying for a UK Standard Visitor Visa.

Instead, you can provide a proposed travel itinerary or a non-paid flight reservation/ticket for visa application purposes, showing your intended travel dates and planned journey.

What matters more is that your application clearly demonstrates:
