The 2017 Whalehaven Sandstone Strata Chardonnay takes us back to an earlier chapter of the w**ery - and a beautiful expression of cool-climate Chardonnay from the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. ✨🌄

The original 2017 reflects a stony minerality balanced by white blossom, with vibrant lime, jasmine, white peach and green apple developing into a broad mid-palate with a tight finish.

Nearly a decade later, it is a bottle worth returning to - not for nostalgia alone, but for the pleasure of seeing what time can reveal. 🥂
