Symmetry Structural Design (SSD) is a Durban-based detailing service founded in 2016. Rowan Goss is the sole proprietor who offers a structural detailing service to a wide spectrum of professionals in the Structural Steel Industry. He has gained over 15 years of experience on local and international projects whilst working for Cousins Steel International (South Africa), Alfasi Steel Constructions

(Hong Kong) and Davgo Steel Construction (South Africa). A few of his local portfolio projects include Willowton Isando, Gold Circle - Greyville Racecourse, Loading Gantrys at IVS, and internationally, the Manangareza Railway Bridge, Madagascar and the Green-Roofed West Kowloon Terminus, Hong Kong. In 2015, Rowan received his Project Management Professional accreditation. He is competent in AutoCad, StruCad, Tekla Structures and Tekla BIM Software. Currently using Tekla Structures, SSD is able to produce 3D BIM Models of structural projects of up to 200 tons, fabrication, general assembly drawings, part drawings, material lists and bolt lists to suit your requirements and specifications. We offer affordable rates whilst taking every effort to ensure that your project is a success. We look forward to hearing from you to discuss detailing your next structure.
