Morewood Brewery, Winery & Distillery Old Balgowan Winery started on a farm in the Natal Midlands producing Meads and Sherries. Alot more development to come. Watch this space!

Over time time added liqueurs and fruit wines We have now moved to a smallholding in Hillcrest adding craft beers and ciders to our repertoire. Old Balgowan Winery was established on the historic Old Balgowan Farm almost four years ago, which property includes the well known retail shop Born in Africa, Sishika, Clay and Holgate Shoe Factory, Old Balgowan Wedding Venue and our own Cheesery. Now res

iding at Morewood Farm and MTB park in Hillcrest, all items are made by hand in house. Amoungst the sherries and liqueurs from the original farm, we have now added hand crafted gins, craft beers, craft ciders, whiskeys, fruit wines and vodkas to our range which can be found in our on site deli.
