At 08h26 on 8 June 2026, a Deep Blue Security Armed Response Officer identified and apprehended a wanted suspect on Harbour Road.

The suspect was wanted in connection with the theft of two large bags from a private property on 1 June 2026. A case had previously been opened, and the suspect was handed over to SAPS following the apprehension.

Another example of how vigilance and proactive patrols help keep our community safer.

On 20 May, Deep Blue Security responded to a report shared by the Sunnydale Neighbourhood Watch regarding a suspect moving through the area. Our team attended and assisted in locating and escorting the individual away from the neighbourhood.

During the response, additional information was received linking the individual to a vandalism incident reported the previous day. SAPS assistance was requested, and the relevant information was shared with the authorities.

This incident highlights the value of strong communication between residents, neighbourhood watches, SAPS, and security providers. By working together and responding quickly to concerns, we help create safer communities for everyone.

At 00h52 on 27th May 2026, CCTV Control identified two suspects entering a business parking area on Victoria Road. CCTV operators observed one of the individuals damaging infrastructure and removing cables, which were then placed in a bag and handed to an accomplice acting as a lookout nearby.

Armed Response Officers were dispatched immediately. Upon arrival, the suspects attempted to flee but were successfully apprehended and escorted back to the scene, where the damage and stolen cables were identified.

CCP was notified and coordinated with SAPS, who arrived shortly thereafter. Both suspects were handed over to SAPS, and a case was opened.

Two Suspects Apprehended Following Gas Bottle Theft in Hout Bay | At 02h27 on 12 May 2026, CCTV Control identified two suspicious individuals with a dog roaming near Victor Road. Minutes later, the suspects were seen running with a gas bottle towards the reeds near Empire Avenue.

Armed Response Officers were dispatched immediately and successfully apprehended the suspects in the reeds, where the stolen gas bottle had been hidden. CCTV footage later confirmed that the suspects had entered the area carrying the gas bottle after stealing it from a private property.

Hout Bay SAPS attended the scene, and both suspects were handed over for further investigation.

At 09h41 on 4 May 2026, a suspect was apprehended while attempting to steal a bicycle in Marina da Gama. A Deep Blue Security Armed Response Officer responded immediately and secured the scene.

SAPS was contacted, and at 10h06 the suspect was transported to the station, where the client followed to open a case.

At 13h39 on 4 May, a Deep Blue Security client in Marina da Gama reported an attempted break-in at their property. Armed Response Officers were dispatched immediately.

By 13h46, the suspect had been apprehended. Deep Blue Security AROs and management were on scene to assist.

SAPS was contacted and arrived shortly after to take the suspect into custody.

A swift response and strong coordination helped bring the incident to a quick and safe resolution.
