Mapungubwe is probably my favorite game reserve in South Africa with is incredible scenery, ancient history and of course it's many stunning baobab trees.

This tree seems to be frozen an ancient dance

This piece will be on show at which opens tomorrow evening.

"Timbavati Revisited"

This amazing baobab can be found a few hundred meters from the Chimanimani camp in the Timbavati, and this is now the third time I have drawn this particular tree.

I always find it incredible, how the same tree, on the same day can look so different depending on the view point.

This piece will be on show at Art in the Country Coastal | Ballito 1-4th October 2026 later this month.
