Sibusiso Banzana is one of our proud Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust bursary alumni, and their journey is a great example of how education can open doors. 🩵

Sibusiso completed their BCom in Fashion at STADIO in 2022, followed by their Honours in Fashion in 2023, building a strong foundation in fashion and the business of the industry.

Since 2024, Sibusiso has been working as a Marketing Assistant at a brand management agency focused on personal branding and talent development. Their studies in fashion, and business understanding support the work they do today, helping to position talent, build strong personal brands, and connect them with the right opportunities. 👏

Sibusiso’s journey reflects the real impact of the Trust’s investment in education and skills development, supporting young people to gain practical, industry-relevant skills that lead to meaningful careers. 🌱

On the 23rd and 24th of April, we were proud to be part of the Working World Exhibition Kouga Careers Expo 2026 in Mentors Kraal, alongside our partners in the Coastal 6 Wind Farms forum. 🥳

The Expo gave local learners a chance to explore different career paths, many within the wind energy industry specifically, and learn more about opportunities available right here in their communities.

We were also honoured to welcome Deputy Minister of Electricity & Energy, Samantha Graham-Mare, who shared an inspiring message with the learners, encouraging them to work hard and turn their dreams into clear goals for the future.

A big thank you to Kouga Municipality for hosting such an important event, helping young people see what’s possible and feel motivated about their futures.

We’re proud to work together as the Coastal 6 Wind Farms to support initiatives like this, and we look forward to many more opportunities to engage with and uplift our communities. 🙏

Linamandla Yengo is a second-year Bachelor of Nursing student at the University of the Free State who continues to grow into a confident and purpose-driven young leader. 🤩

She began her first year as a quiet and reserved student, but through dedication and mentorship she found her voice. Her hard work also paid off as she passed all her modules with strong results, which led to her being recognised as a leader among her peers. 🌟

This year, Linamandla is now paying it forward. She has been selected as a mentor for first-year students, supporting them as they adjust to university life. She also serves on her residence mentorship committee, working alongside fellow students to create a supportive and empowering environment. 👏

The Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust is proud to see learners grow beyond academics, recognising that leadership, involvement, and community play a vital role in shaping future leaders.

Linamandla’s story also reflects the impact of this investment, which is producing young people who are not only succeeding, but uplifting others along the way. Well done Linamandla and all our learners making impact in their respective learning institutions! 🙌

We’re excited to spotlight Zubenathi Skosana, a second year of a Bachelor of Accounting student at Stellenbosch University. 🥳

Zubenathi is making the most of every opportunity in front of him and shows strong focus and a positive approach to university life. Beyond his studies, Zubenathi has stepped into a mentorship role, supporting first year students as they adjust to campus life. He is guiding them through their coursework, sharing advice, and helping them find their footing.

He is also actively involved in sport and plays for the university rugby team, contributing to his growth both on and off the field. 🏉

With the support of the Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust, including the provision of essential accounting textbooks, Zubenathi continues to stay committed and focused on building his future. It’s an honour for the Trust to be part of his journey as we continue to invest in education and skills development, and empower young people to build meaningful careers and contribute to the growth of their communities. 🌱
