to the Working World Exhibition Kouga Careers Expo 2026 at Mentors Kraal when Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust was proud to join the Coastal 6 Wind Farms forum and other partners for two days of career guidance, learning, and future planning. 🎓

It was great to see learners exploring different career paths, asking questions, and learning more about opportunities in their communities, including the wind energy sector. 🌱🩵

❓ TWFT Community FAQ | Does applying guarantee funding?

This is a question we answer a lot, and the answer is No, sending a request or applying does not automatically guarantee funding.

All applications and funding requests are carefully reviewed by the Funding Committee before any approvals are made. While meeting the requirements is important, it does not mean funding will be guaranteed.

This process helps the Trust make fair and informed decisions, especially when there are many requests, and limited resources. 🙏

Jody-Ann Gouws from Clarkson is one of the Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust's Skills Development Programme beneficiaries and her journey is a wonderful example of where determination and opportunity can lead. 🩵

Jody-Ann completed her Cabin Crew training at Big Sky Academy in Pretoria and qualified as a licensed Cabin Crew member, becoming the Trust's first programme graduate of 2025.🎓

Her achievement highlights the impact of skills development in creating pathways to meaningful careers and empowering young people to reach new heights.

The Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust is proud to have been part of Jody-Ann's journey and remains committed to investing in skills that create opportunities and help build stronger communities.

As we commemorate the 50th anniversary of our nation’s Youth Day under the theme "RESET@50 – The Future Calls", we are reminded that investing in young people remains one of the most important investments we can make. 🙏

At the Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust, this commitment comes to life through initiatives such as our Bursary Programme, Skills Development Programme, Children & Youth Literacy Project, and many others. These projects are supporting learners and empowering young people for meaningful economic participation.

From supporting learners at universities, funding skills training in trades and technical fields, to connecting young people with career opportunities and workplace readiness, the Trust continues to invest in the next generation of leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

Today, we celebrate the young people who are learning, growing, working, and building the future. The future is calling, and we’re preparing our young people to answer that call. 🌱

🎓 Congratulations to our TWFT Bursary beneficiary, Amy Bruiners from Thornham! Amy was studying towards a Bachelor of Medical Science in Anatomy at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and we are proud to celebrate her journey and achievements. 👏

Sibusiso Banzana is one of our proud Tsitsikamma Wind Farm Trust bursary alumni, and their journey is a great example of how education can open doors. 🩵

Sibusiso completed their BCom in Fashion at STADIO in 2022, followed by their Honours in Fashion in 2023, building a strong foundation in fashion and the business of the industry.

Since 2024, Sibusiso has been working as a Marketing Assistant at a brand management agency focused on personal branding and talent development. Their studies in fashion, and business understanding support the work they do today, helping to position talent, build strong personal brands, and connect them with the right opportunities. 👏

Sibusiso’s journey reflects the real impact of the Trust’s investment in education and skills development, supporting young people to gain practical, industry-relevant skills that lead to meaningful careers. 🌱
